who we are

St. Peter Street Internal Medicine is a small privately owned, physician owned clinic located across from St. Joseph’s Hospital in downtown St. Paul. We see patients both in the clinic and in the hospital; we believe this provides a better quality of care. Our small size means that patients receive personal, individualized, high-quality care. We are a participating member with most of the major health plans.

St. Peter Street Internal Medicine is dedicated to the health and well being of the adult patient (age 17 and up) across his/her lifespan. We are focused on quality, primary prevention of disease and improvement of any acute or chronic medical conditions afflicting a patient. We believe the patient is ultimately responsible for their own health, and that physicians help guide, direct and counsel the patient in order to achieve an individual’s health care goals. We partner with patients and their families to achieve the best outcome in every situation.

Please call us at 651.645.9600 during our normal business hours, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Same day / Walk in appointments are available for all urinary tract infection patients, and for those with acute medical problems. Avoid “minute clinic” and urgent care clinics with providers who don’t know you as well.

after hours coverage

“24/7” on call care coverage is available. Please call the main clinic number to access off-hour care coverage.

Dr. Slattery currently shares call with the Internists of Metropolitan Medical Associates, another privately owned Internal Medicine Clinic in the Gallery Building. MMA physicians include Charlie Callaghan, M.D., Jim Finell M.D., and Dave Groppoli, M.D.
